1. Set up a Facebook page
First and foremost, you need to set up your page. To do that, go to the Create tab on the top of your main page and choose page.
Then you can choose between a brand or business, or a figure. Brand or business related to normal businesses that want to have page, and figure is related to someone popular. as an instance, if you are a TV celebrity, an athlete, or someone well-known.
In the next section, you are asked to choose a logo for your page and cover letter. If you prepared those prior to set up, then you can easily add them and click save. If you are not, then it's better to skip these and add them later.
For making a Facebook cover page and profile photo, you can use various applications that are for this reason. If you are an expert in graphics or know how to design using photoshop, then stick to it. If you are not, you can choose between plenty of designing Softwares and applications that are mainly free an accessible on smartphones and windows PC or Mac.
Hereby, my personal suggestion is CANVA. Its easy t use, free to use, and gives you unlimited options for everything that you might not even expect.
Alright now that you have your pages with cover an profile picture. you need to fill up the page info.
After you liked and entered in, you will see a page that has a left bar and main body. On the left bar, you can choose different sections and change whatever you want. But its better to first identify what your page needs to have. Here from the top which is general, you can add your business address inapplicable, your number and webpage address, and other general things.
it is advised spending time on this page because it pays as your business structure. You can find linking options to Instagram and Whatsapp, you can choose your Page pattern in Template and Tab section, or you can add an admin or moderator to your page to take care of a part of your business page.
2. invite your friends
After you almost finish setting up, then its the step to invite your friends to follow your page. By the way, it's better to have some posts on your page then you invite them, as an empty page is the same as an empty store.
For inviting your friends, in your page on the right side in the middle you can find it.
Tip: one of the best ways to have a good number of followers is to have some other admins in your page. Each of these admins can invite their friends to the page and grow the number of followers.
For adding an admin to your page, go to the Edit page info, and click on the page role.
After that, on your right side of the page you can search the username of the admin you would like to add. It's available to give them less access and conduct them and moderator or editor also.
Alright! now you have your page alive and your tasks start since then. There are lots of things that you have to think about it and perform it on a daily basis. Try to have a timetable for your Facebook page to move accordingly.
As a self-experience, this is a never-ending task that no matter how many posts and comments or other activities you do, there are stills lots of other things that have to be done. Hence, before opening up a Facebook page, think about it and check whether you have a minimum 2 hours time to devote to your page or no.
What tasks I have to do on a daily basis?
There are a lot of tasks that you can do. First of all, prepare a piece of paper and write the tasks that have to be done each day. Afterward, write down the weekly tasks that have to do one a week, and finally monthly tasks.daily tasks
Your main tasks depend on your business nature. For example if your business delivers a service such as a massage, you should set up your available appointment time, assign the booking section and add the info there. But in a business that sells products online, you should pay more attention to your shop section and check it daily.
Your daily tasks are:
- posting on your page
- join at least 5 groups
- follow 5 pages the same as your business
- surf in related groups and pages, add comments and answer questions
- Share your posts to the joined groups
- update your page story(via cellphone only)
Note: your daily tasks could be something different, but these examples above are the most relevant ones.
Weekly tasks
The weekly tasks are more information and evaluative ones, but you can add some cool things like a contest or watch party. A watch party is a facility to for example watch something with your followers or explain something to them through the online presentation videos that you made before. Moreover, Going live is the best way to let your follower know you and interact with you better.
Your weekly tasks are:
- Check your Facebook insight,
- refresh your page greeting,
- checking your inventory section(shop/services) assess whichever part has to be modified.
- Through a watch party
- Throw challenge or contest
- Go live
For accessing your Facebook insight, Go to your top of the page and click on insight. Pay attention that if you change your page pattern on Template and Tab section, your page's insight section might be somewhere else, but it's there, so do not worry!!
Good job, now you have a Facebook page that has ongoing visitors and regular likes and comments. If you want to make a sale out of it, you have to pay more attention to your page and devote more time and be creative.
Thanks for your time.
